San Francisco, California — Don Bobis, 72, died at the San Francisco Trauma Center on Friday, April 24, 2015 , at 11:04 am of internal brain hemorrhage after a bad fall down the stairs of his home a day earlier.
He is survived by his wife Corazon, son Michael Don, brother Horacio, and sisters Daisy, Lorna, June, Iren, Natalyn, in-laws, and many close friends.
Born on August 29, 1943 and raised in Manila, Philippines, he is the fifth offspring of Vicente V. Bobis and Lucita Cachuela. He migrated to the United States in 2003 and has been a resident of San Francisco ever since.
